Sasha K. Richardson

Chief Executive Officer

Sasha joined SmartAnalyst in November as COO and was appointed CEO from January, 2021.  She is a seasoned commercial life science strategy leader and brings over 24 years as a global healthcare-life science business leader and internationally recognized commercial opportunity and market access expert. Most recently, Sasha was a Managing Director and senior leader in EY’s Health Sciences & Wellness practice focused on commercial strategy, innovation, value optimization and transformation. Prior, she was EVP & Head of the US and EU practices for GfK (formerly Bridgehead International), a Commercial & Market Access Consultancy serving global life science clients for 11 years. In the first half of her career, Sasha worked in industry in Germany and was a healthcare provider in the US, UK and Canada (both private and public sectors). Sasha has an MBA from HEC Paris/London Business School, and holds degrees in Biopsychology/Neurophysiology from UBC and Physiotherapy from UWO.


Amandeep Kalsi

Amandeep Kalsi

Head, Research Operations & General Manager, India

Aman has over two decades of experience in strategy consulting, artificial intelligence, analytics, and machine learning. Prior to joining SmartAnalyst, he headed the global AI consulting operations for San Francisco-based, Absolutdata; headed Analytics and Research for WNS Global Services; founded AI & analytics at the startup, RocSearch, as its CEO/COO and headed Analytics consulting practice as Director at Protiviti. He worked at Arthur Andersen’s consulting practice in the early years.  His experience spans sectors such as financial services, retail, CPG, telecom, hospitality, pharmaceuticals and healthcare and worked for clients extensively across North America as well as UK, Europe and Asia regions. He has an MBA from IIM-Ahmedabad and an Integrated Master’s and Bachelor’s degree from IIT-Delhi in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology.

Robin Gasloli

Vice President and Managing Director

Robin Gasloli, Pharm.D, leads the consulting practice to ensure delivery of strategically compelling, analytically robust and well-structured projects for our clients. Dr. Gasloli has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including senior leadership roles across both medical and commercial functions, primarily focused on specialty and rare disease areas. Most recently, she provided strategic consulting services to healthcare and pharmaceutical companies to enable them to successfully identify and develop new business opportunities and product commercialization strategies. Previously, she held leadership positions at Pfizer and Wyeth, including leadership of both US and Global Marketing teams, as well as teams responsible for New Product Planning and Commercial Development for both early and late-stage pipeline assets. She also led a team responsible for commercial assessments of products for in-licensing and acquisition decisions across multiple therapeutic areas. Robin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and Pharm.D. from Wayne State University.

Vikram Gosain

Executive Director, Head of Europe, London, UK

Vikram brings over 20 years of strategic consulting and corporate finance experience. Currently he is focused on expanding SmartAnalyst’s European business while also executing on client engagements. Over the past 15+ years, he has played an instrumental role in building SmartAnalyst’s consulting capabilities and has worked on a wide range of client engagements in multiple therapeutic areas and geographies. His specialty areas include BD&L due diligence, commercial assessments and forecasting, portfolio analysis and strategy. Prior to SmartAnalyst, Vikram worked in corporate finance and in an Internet start-up focused on corporate strategy. Vikram earned his Bachelor’s degree and MBA in finance from Pace University, New York, with Beta Gamma Sigma honors.

Ravi C. Potluri

Executive Director, HEOR, Pharmacoeconomic Modeling and Analytics

Ravi joined SmartAnalyst in 2009, and heads the HEOR practice, specializing in pharmacoeconomic modeling, epidemiology modeling and real-world data analytics. He has led 200+ projects in these areas, spread over multiple therapy areas and diverse clients. Ravi has co-authored 75 publications to date. Prior to joining SmartAnalyst, Ravi spent 17 years in various roles in the financial sector, including arbitrage trading and private equity management. Ravi has an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and received an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.

John L’Ecuyer

Executive Director, Business Development

John leads SmartAnalyst’s Global Business Development team and is responsible for managing client relationships across our Strategy, Value and Evidence, and Insights verticals. He joined SmartAnalyst in 2003, and over the years has partnered with bio-pharma clients in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific to provide data-driven strategies and insights that inform clinical development, value and evidence, BD&L and go-to-market strategies. Prior to SmartAnalyst, he worked in healthcare communications, where he supported media relations for healthcare providers and biotech companies. He graduated from Columbia University.

Heather Hill

Chief Financial Officer

Heather Hill is Chief Financial Officer of SmartAnalyst, Inc. She has a long history in the healthcare consulting arena, previously spending 15 years at C3i Solutions, a multi-channel customer engagement services provider.  In that role, she supported the growth of the company from a US based service provider to an international leader in services to the pharmaceutical industry, overseeing audit, tax planning, monthly and annual reporting and payroll as well as leading the finance integration efforts upon acquisition.  Heather is a Certified Public Accountant, with a wide range of industry experience including consulting, consumer retail services and non-profit organizations.  Heather holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland.

Manu Bammi

Current Senior Advisor and Former CEO

Manu Bammi is Co-Founder and former CEO of SmartAnalyst, and has led the company since its inception in 2000. Prior to founding SmartAnalyst, Manu co-founded PSi, a consulting and advisory firm based in New York and New Delhi in 1989 and managed PSi’s New York office. Manu has over 30 years of research and consulting experience, and more than 20 years of experience focused in healthcare and pharmaceuticals. Manu worked for several years as a management consultant with APM, a New York-based management consulting firm that has since been acquired by Computer Sciences Corporation. Manu has been featured in Forbes, Crain’s New York Business, and on CNN with Lou Dobbs; he has been quoted in InformationWeek, BusinessWeek, Fortune, and the Financial Times. Manu is a regular participant at meetings of the US-India Business Council and The Indus Entrepreneurs. Manu graduated cum laude from Yale University with a distinction in Economics.
