New York-Based firm Appoints Manager of Business Development for Life Sciences sector
NEW YORK ‚ March 17, 2008 ‚ SMARTANALYST, Inc., a pioneer in providing strategic research and analytics solutions‚ announced today the recent appointment of Dr. Ashish K. Kohli as its Business Development Manager for the Life Sciences sector.
Dr. Kohli will be responsible for driving Life Sciences sales and business development efforts in the UK as well as in European Markets.

Dr. Kohli joins SMARTANALYST from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), where he was a Pharmaceutical Licensing Assessor; most recently in the Biologicals and Biotechnology Unit and previously in the Chemical Variations unit. He holds a Pharmacy degree with Honors from the London School of Pharmacy and is a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain. He also obtained a PhD from the School. Dr. Kohli's research was in the use of Polymeric Nanoparticles for the Non-invasive Delivery of Vaccines. His research has been published and presented at various European trade conferences, where he was a noted, award-winning speaker.
