New York-Based firm Appoints Business Development Director for its Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector
NEW YORK ‚ April 9, 2008‚ SMARTANALYST, Inc., a pioneer in providing outsourced strategic research and analytics solutions‚ announced today the recent appointment of David Kirk as its Business Development Director for the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector.
Kirk will be responsible for driving Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sales and business development efforts in the in the U.S. markets.

David Kirk has joined SMARTANALYST as a Business Development Director. Kirk has a broad Pharmaceutical industry background having held positions in Business Development, Clinical Research, Field Sales, Licensing, New Product Development, Product Management and Strategic Planning. He worked in the global marketing division for Janssen Pharmaceutica (Johnson & Johnson) in Belgium and on new product launches, strategic planning, field sales and clinical research. His experience spans multi-national Pharmaceutical companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Roche, Bayer, as well as specialty Pharmaceutical companies such as Bioglan Pharmaceutical and Inovera Bioscience to Medical Devices companies such as Antares Pharmaceutical. Kirk has also conducted in and out-licensing consulting assignments for Pharmaceutical clients. He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University.
